Engelmann oak natural traditional

In the winter of 2021 a massive branch of a local Engelmann Oak came down. The Engelmann oak is a work of art. A rare species of oak is only found in Southern California. This magnificent tree was never interesting for the wood industry because of its gnarly curved branches. Loyal #1 is made out of one of those branches. The elegant shape of the boomerang followed the organic curve of the natural elbow. A traditional design with an easy flight and powerful descent (watch those fingers).
