Coast live oak natural elbow hook with Purpleheart and cork handle

A beast of a natural elbow with lots of extra jazz added to it. The elbow is local Coast live oak. The handle is a solid piece of reclaimed Purpleheart with a natural cork inlay. The tip is weighted with three copper cylinders filled with red jasper mineral inlay. The handle is weighted with 4 extra smaller copper rods. To strengthen the handle joint, 4 oak pins were perpendicularly inserted in the joint. Launching it requires a hefty throw. But once airborne it gracefully circles high in the sky before it starts its slow descent seeking the hand of the thrower with pinpoint precision. 

A crack in the elbow after a bad launch decommissioned loyal #7 from active duty.
