Strip laminated Juniper with Juniper handle and G10 backing

Loyal #14, the newest member of the family, was made out of the same block of strip laminated Juniper as loyal #11. Because this was a thinner strip of Juniper, I added a G10 backing to make the boomerang a bit thicker and much stronger. The handle was created with a highly figured piece of Juniper. Tuning this boomerang was extremely tricky since the wood and the glass fiber epoxy (G10) shrink and expand at different rates depending on the temperature and moisture. Once the tune was set, the boomerang was finished with multiple layers of high gloss lacquer.
