Loyal #33

Striplaminate Oak with Wengé strips and Ebony handle 

Loyal #33 is the first of a set of three Red oak striplaminates with a double Wengé strip running over the entire length. The brass weights in the trailing wing are filled with locally mined black tourmaline crystals for extra mana points. This boomerang is a real gustbuster thanks to its sturdy Ebony handle which adds weight to the boomerang and shifts the center of rotation towards the leading wing giving it considerably more distance. It participated in the wood exhibition show in the local arts center last year. It has become one of my all time favorites thanks to its low and accurate flight.
