Eucalyptus strip laminated with yellow, orange, red and black dye

loyal #19 is my second strip-laminated Eucalyptus boomerang. To increase the distance five brass weights are fitted into the wings. The four in the handle are filled with red epoxy. Inspired by the sunburst dye effect often seen on guitars, I decided to use four different dyes on this one, black in the elbow, red, orange and yellow at the tips. This beast of a boomerang needs a powerful launch and some wind to make it all the way back. Perfect for high wind conditions when other lighter boomerangs fail.
