Engelmann Oak hook natural elbow

loyal #22 is a natural elbow hook made from a big slab of local Engelmann Oak. An intentional minimalistic design highlights the beauty of the wood grain. Engelmann Oak is extremely dense wood. While thinning the boomerang down a metal routing bit shattered into pieces. Two brass weights were added for a longer flight and two coats of Danish oil finished the wood.
