Striplaminate Oak with green malachite and cocobolo handle inlay

Loyal #31 has travelled with me to Costa Rica, Belgium and Italy, and participated in the 2024 World Championship in Denver, Colorado. It’s been my favorite for a long time. I finished it in October 2023. Time flies by, just like this boomerang when it climbs high and far out, before it embarks on its seemingly impossible return. I don’t remember it needing tuning. It came out of the shop and flew just like I wanted it. 

Loyal #31 marks the beginning of a new design era for me. The boomerangs before and after #31 feel different. Something changed when I finished this one. Something clicked. Have I finally found my style? I think so.
